Your Healthy Aging Skincare Routine

Cleansing ensures any impurities are washed away. It also prepares the skin for any actives or treatments that you may be using.

You can use a cleanser in the morning, or you can simply wash your face with water.

Serums include active ingredients that you want to penetrate deeply as possible into your skin.

Always apply a serum directly to your skin after cleansing and before your moisturizer and sunscreen.

We recommend a Vitamin C serum for its antioxidant and anti-aging properties.

This is the most important step of your skincare routine.

You should apply sunscreen daily as the last step in your routine and your sunscreen should be minimum SPF 30.

*If you feel like your sunscreen is not moisturizing enough, you can apply moisturizer before this step.

Use a gentle cleanser at night to clean any lingering dirt and oil out of your pores.

Retinol and Retinoids are a form of Vitamin A that helps decrease visible wrinkles, bright spots and pore size.

We recommend speaking to your doctor or dermatologist about a prescription-strength retinoid called Tretinoin.

If tretinoin is not an option for you, products containing adapalene such as Differin and La Roche Posay Adapalene Gel are great retinoid alternatives that can be bought online without a prescription.

Moisturizing at night creates a barrier that will hydrate and seal in active ingredients.

Look for a moisturizer containing hyaluronic acid, or ceramides which will help to retain your skin's natural moisture and reinforce your skin's barrier.
